The Markie Foundation 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

July 13, 2012

Another successful event helps raise nearly $20,000 for children’s hospice.

On Friday, July 13, 2012, The Markie Foundation hosted its 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Sunol Valley Golf Club in Sunol, California. With the event and direct donations, The Markie Foundation has raised nearly $20,000 this year to support children’s hospice programs and services.

At the golf tournament banquet, The Markie Foundation presented a $15,000 check to George Mark Children’s House to support its much needed sibling bereavement program, and a $5,000 check to Hinds Hospice to support the organization’s pediatric hospice services.

Thanks to the many participants, sponsors, and volunteers who made this another huge success!
