Annual fundraiser brings in another $11,500 to support families in need.
On Friday, July 18, 2014, The Markie Foundation hosted its 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Sunol Valley Golf Club in Sunol, California. With the event and direct donations, The Markie Foundation has raised more than $15,000 this year to support children’s hospice programs and services.
Approximately 180 golfers and dinner guests participated in the event, which continues to be the organization’s primary fundraiser. With its existing and new funds, The Markie Foundation will look to disburse another $15,000 to select beneficiaries in the coming year.
