YES! We’re confirmed to host our 21st* Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Callippe Preserve Golf Course in Pleasanton, CA. (* Our originally scheduled 21st in 2020 was canceled due to COVID-19.)

Our format will be similar to years past, with a 1 p.m. shotgun scramble format followed by a dinner banquet. We’ll be sure to follow county and facility guidelines to ensure the safety and health of our participants. See event details and forms below.

2021 Refund Policy: In the event of cancellation or uncontrollable changes due to COVID-19, participants and sponsors will have the option to receive a full refund or apply their purchase as a fully tax-deductible donation.

Each year, The Markie Foundation hosts its annual charity golf tournament to benefit children’s hospice. This is our largest fundraiser of the year–and a great time out for all those involved. Below is information for our 2021 event.

Founders Letter

The Markie Foundation was established in July 1999 to honor our son Mark Warren Wuelfing, who died at four months of age from a severe neurological disorder. Our purpose is to raise money for children’s hospice programs in Northern California and to help other families receive the quality hospice services needed while caring for a terminally ill child at home. To date, we have raised approximately $400,000 towards this cause, thanks to our many generous supporters.

We are excited to host our 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament (after last year’s cancellation due to COVID-19), as we continue to grow and support children’s hospice. We look forward to you participating and helping us continue to make a difference in the lives of terminally ill children and their families.

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

  • Shotgun Start (Scramble Format)

  • No-Host Cocktails; Dinner; Awards; Presentation; Auction; Raffle *

* Banquet format subject to change due to venue health and safety requirements.

The tournament entry fee is $150, which includes:
